Yes, but it depends on the structure of the market, don’t jump into a buy trade when the market is on a downtrend and retracing. Unless you just want to quickly scalp. The idea is make sure youvare following the trend.
The market structure is the major thing, don’t just buy, make sure it’s in a buy trend after a retracement you enter a buy position, also you can still take buy position in a downtrend but it’s could be risky if you miss the retracement for a continuation. Overall study the market structure first
Yes, for those using phones, the setup is almost thesame thing, the idea is, on system you see the chart very clearly , so it’s important to do analysis on a computer
