r19 may work but the interface is different altogether. So use the Internet Download Manager for the downloading

What is your system specs? Try uninstalling the software, Restart you computer and follow the installation process again.

any laptop with a dedicated Nvidia Graphics card should work well with cinema 4d. I will recommend a gaming laptop since they always come with a good graphics card
