I have a question in regard to this particular topic. Contained in the performance preference is a memory usage section, which allows me to decide what percentage of memory the Photoshop application uses. Please, I want to know what happens if I reduce or increase the percentage. At the moment it’s set at 70% by default.
Already at 70% Photos hop is already consuming tons of memory allocation and increasing beyong that will make other application on your PC or Mac to suffer a great deal. Ironically Increasing beyond this threshold will not enhance the performance of your PC or Mac because that is the standard benchmark for all systems. Kindly leave the settings without altering it.
