I will like you to give more insight in a situation whereby we get excel sheet someone worked on, how do we see the formulas the person used

For instance, let’s say the person used (Rank) on his sheet and a cell out of that is deleted, it will give us error value right?

Now, how do we get the exact point to correct???

Here’s my answer based on my understanding of your Question.

To see the formula used in Excel, just click on the cell where the formula was written earlier, the formula will be displayed on the Formula bar.

Even if one the Cells used in the formula is deleted and it’s giving an error sign, the formula will still be displayed on the formula bar.

The formula will not be displayed only when the formula has been deleted or the formula bar is hidden.

To unhide formula, go to VIEW and check the Formula bar box.
