I was working on some data and I filtered, then copied the filtered data to a new sheet, and I realise the hidden data also followed the one I filtered, kindly help explain what went wrong and how to fix it, thank you.
Using the Advance Filter method, ensure you tick on “copy to another location”
The filtered data will be copied to another location of your choice.
This solves the challenge.

My question on this topic is that, after filtering to another location, i tried to change the data set (under sales) on the source data/table. The changes didnt reflect in the data in the new location. Is there a way we can work around this?
No way
Filtered result has no link to update with the source data.
When you change the source data you repeat the filtering again.
